EUDR due diligence statement
File EUDR due diligence statements without retyping a thing.
A due diligence statement is submitted in the EU Information System (TRACES) before products are placed on the market or exported. EUDRplot fills it from the checked product record and submits it through the system's API.
- Data hosted in the EU
- Files straight to the EU Information System
- Encrypted, GDPR, DPA included
- Five-year audit trail
EUDR due diligence statement
What you get
Checked first
The statement and its geolocation are checked against the Information System's rules before anything is sent.
Filled from the product
Commodity, HS code, description, quantity, country of production and, for wood, the species.
Geolocation attached
From the current version of each plot file, kept under the 25 MB limit.
Reference numbers kept
The reference and verification numbers, ready to pass to your customers and to customs.
Amend or withdraw
Correct or withdraw a statement from the same record, within what the system allows.
Your own credentials
Statements are filed in your name, with your Information System API credentials.
What a statement contains
The operator's name, address and, where relevant, EORI number. For each product: the HS code, a description, the quantity, the country of production and the geolocation of the plots. For wood, the scientific and common names of the species. And the declaration that due diligence was exercised and that no risk, or only a negligible one, was found.
The geolocation file
Plots go in as GeoJSON in WGS 84: points with an Area for plots of four hectares or less, polygons above that, at least six decimals, and no more than 25 MB per statement. Most rejections come from this file. EUDRplot builds it from the checked plot files, so the problems were fixed earlier.
Filing through the API
The Information System has a web form and an API for operators. EUDRplot uses the API with your credentials: it submits the statement, reads back the reference and verification numbers, and keeps them with the product. A statement can be amended or withdrawn from the same record.

When is a due diligence statement needed?
Before relevant products are placed on the EU market or exported, by the operator. Downstream operators and traders do not submit one for products already covered by a statement.
What is the reference number for?
The Information System issues it with a verification number when the statement is submitted. Customs needs it to release the goods, and your customers need it for their own records.
Can a small company have someone else file for it?
A natural person or a microenterprise may mandate the next downstream operator or trader, if that one is not itself a microenterprise, to submit the statement for it.
Which plan files statements?
Starter and above. The free checker checks the geolocation file you would attach.
