EUDR for exporters

EUDR for exporters and cooperatives: send geolocation that passes first time.

Your EU buyers are the operators, but the geolocation comes from you. EUDRplot lets you check and fix your members' plot files free, and send them through your buyer's link in the form the Information System needs.

What your buyers will ask for

The geolocation of every plot your product came from, as points or polygons with six decimals. The country of production. The period of production. And evidence that the land was used legally: titles, permits, declarations. They need it before each shipment is placed on the market.

Files that pass first time

Most files are refused for the same few reasons: latitude and longitude swapped, polygons that cross themselves, too few decimals, plots larger than four hectares sent as points. Checking before sending turns a week of back and forth into a minute.

Keeping it current

Members join and leave, plots change. Keep one current file per buyer and update it through the same link. Your buyer sees the new version; the old one stays in their history.

Questions

Does the EUDR apply to me outside the EU?

Its obligations fall on whoever places the product on the EU market. But that operator needs your plots' geolocation and evidence of legal production, so in practice the work starts with you.

Do I need to pay to use the checker?

No. The checker and the converters are free and need no account. Your buyer's supplier link is free for you too.

What if a plot was forest in 2020?

It is a risk your buyer has to assess, and it may stop the product being placed on the market. It is better to know early and gather evidence of what the land was.
