No, this needs a decision only you can make.
In short
Add the real area in hectares as a number.

What the Information System does

It accepts the point and sets its area to four hectares: "If it is not provided, then it will be set by default to "4" (four) hectares" (GeoJSON File Description, File Variants Description, important notes); "If the user provided no data, the value 4 (ha) is introduced by default for the area" (Information System validation rules, Geolocation area for point).

Why it happens

For a polygon, the area comes from the shape. A point has no shape, so the Information System relies on the Area property, and when it is missing, it assumes four hectares.

That default is rarely right. If the plot is one hectare, your statement declares four times the land you farm. If the plot is larger than four hectares, a point was never allowed in the first place, and the default hides it.

It is a note rather than an error because the file will be accepted. Whether it is accurate is another matter, and only you can say.

What the checker reports for this file:

  1. This point has no Area, so the Information System will record it as 4 hectares., line 6, column 21
Before
Before. Centred on 6.1235° N, 5.1235° W.

Fix it in EUDRplot

  1. Open the file in the checker. Points without an Area are listed as notes, not errors: the file will be accepted.
  2. Add the real area. Add "Area": 1.25 (the plot's real size in hectares, as a number) to each point's properties.
  3. Or map the plot. A polygon needs no Area: its area is measured from the boundary.

Fix it in QGIS

  1. Add the Area field. Field Calculator: create a Decimal number field named Area, or update it if it exists, from the column that holds the plot size in your source data.
  2. Check the units. Area is in hectares. If your source is in square metres, divide by 10,000; in acres, multiply by 0.4047.
