Embed the checker on your website
Put the free EUDR geolocation checker on your own site with one snippet. Visitors check files in their own browser; neither your site nor ours receives them.
An association, a consultancy or a cooperative federation can put the checker on its own pages, so members check their plot files where they already are. It is the same checker as on our home page: the same rules, the same verdict, run in the visitor's browser.
The snippet
Paste this where the checker should appear. It works in any page builder that accepts HTML, and on plain HTML pages.
<div data-eudr-checker>
<a href="https://eudrplot.com/check">EUDR geolocation checker by EUDRplot</a>
</div>
<script src="https://eudrplot.com/embed.js" async></script>The script replaces nothing on your page: it puts the checker in a frame above the link, and keeps the frame as tall as its content. The link stays, as the plain-HTML fallback for visitors without JavaScript.
Options
Set these as attributes on the div:
| Attribute | Values | Default |
|---|---|---|
data-theme | light or dark | The visitor's system setting |
data-title | The frame's name for screen readers | "EUDR geolocation file checker" |
data-site | Your white-label ID (see below) | none |
Privacy
- Files stay in the visitor's browser. The checker inside the frame reads the file and checks it on the visitor's device. It is not uploaded to us, and the frame's security policy would stop it if anything tried.
- Your page never sees the file. The frame is on our domain, so the browser keeps your page's scripts out of it. The only thing the frame tells your page is how tall it is.
- "Fix it in the full checker" opens our checker in a new tab and hands the file over inside the visitor's browser. Nothing is sent to a server on the way.
The "Checked with" link
Free use shows a "Checked with EUDRplot" link at the bottom of the frame, and keeps
the link in the snippet. Both must stay. On the Consultant plan, you can list your
websites in Settings → Embed; on those sites the frame shows "Provided by" your name
instead, and your snippet carries a data-site ID. The same snippet on any other site
shows the standard link.
If your site has a Content Security Policy
Allow our script and our frame:
script-src https://eudrplot.com;
frame-src https://eudrplot.com;If your site allows no outside scripts, use the frame on its own. It does not resize itself, so give it a height:
<iframe src="https://eudrplot.com/embed/check" title="EUDR geolocation file checker"
style="width:100%;height:560px;border:0" loading="lazy"></iframe>
<a href="https://eudrplot.com/check">EUDR geolocation checker by EUDRplot</a>What visitors get
The embedded checker takes GeoJSON, KML, KMZ, GPX, shapefiles and CSV; says whether the EU Information System would accept the file; lists each problem with a link to its explanation; and opens the full checker, with the map and the fixes, in a new tab. The forest check and saving need the full checker.
